The artist is self -wrapping
In Ivanovo-Voznesensk, Samokhvalov was sent by isogiz on weaving factories to create a picture of weaving production. (In autobiography, the artist indicates the date “1931” – RGALI, F. 78, op. 3, d. 49, l. 25). The material was assembled in the form of 9 watercolor sketches of workers and 2 paintings – “Weaving Workshop” (1929, timing) and “Printing Workshop” (location not established).
