The 1920s became a “landscape explosion” for Kuprin, when the artist visited many cities of the Crimean peninsula, wrote the streets of Bakhchisarai, mountains, and history monuments. The picture captures the favorite motive – the street of the former capital of the Crimean Khanate. The landscape preserves the main qualities of Kuprin’s work – the desire for constructiveness and logical harmony.
